About Jesus Centered Ministries Nicaragua Child & Family
Jesus Centered Ministries (JCM) operates a ministry for children and families outside Leon, Nicaragua operated by missionaries Alan & “Momma” Cheryl Spence. Here, JCM works with families and medical care practitioners to give great care to children in need of a healing touch. It is also here that the ministry operates a children’s home to house children under their custodial care and traveling families who are seeking care.
JCM Nicaragua Child and Family weekly serves families traveling from around Nicaragua seeking medical help and assistance for their children. Common medical needs are cleft palates, heart and brain issues, eyesight maladies, and other birth defects.
Currently, the Children’s Home is home to about a dozen children.
On the JCM Child and Family Nicaragua property a number of fruits and veggies are grown, including moringa trees, papaya, pears, starfruit, and more. Also housed is a pig and a couple cows.

At JCM Nicaragua Child & Family, our mission is to serve the families of children with specialized needs by welcoming them to into our home and connecting the children to the love, care, and medical attention they need.
Our vision is to successfully serve the needs of all the children of Nicaragua needing the love of Jesus and specialized care of a medical professional.
