August 2019 a ministry from Waspan ask if we would help Anaboly with crutches.
We brought her and her mom to Leon to see how we could help. With the help of HEODRA we started a leg lenghten process. We did the process for a year and half only to find out it wasnt going to help.
The decision was made that amputation was needed and it was done February 2022.
In July 2022 she received her first prosthesis in Managua. Bold and hole type. She is ready for a real prosthesis that doesnt wiggle.
Anaboly is from the east coast of Nicaragua. This is a picture the first time in a year she had seen her family. She is the oldest of 5 children. We are very thankful for the opportunity for a new prosthesis that she will be able to walk without her knee going both ways.
